Como parte de la transformación digital, SUNAT viene implementando el programa Fast. La entidad tributaria afirma que está dando muy buenos resultados, sobre todo en la reducción de tiempo de la liberación de mercancías importadas.
Asimismo, SUNAT indicó que se está promoviendo el despacho anticipado en puerto, a través de un sistema de citas para entrega de carga, el visto bueno electrónico y un corredor seguro para el ingreso y salida 24×7.
Por oto lado, en lo referido a la coordinación en fronteras, la entidad indicó que se han mejorado los tiempos de atención en los Centros Binacionales mediante la interoperabilidad en trámites binacionales y la mejora de la infraestructura.
En cuanto a la simplificación y facilitación, se ha puesto en marcha servicios de comunicación en línea, que permiten al importador monitorear la llegada de su mercancía para que inicie los despachos de importación y la deuda aduanera, virtualización de documentos, y un micrositio para conocer el tiempo total de importación, así como una aplicación para ver el estado de los procesos aduaneros.
